Josua Victor is the Founding and Managing Partner of Josua Victor & Partners (JVNP), a law firm specializing in corporate and commercial law, capital markets, banking and financial services, strategic dispute resolution, and regulatory compliance. As a senior advocate and a member of the Indonesian Advocates Association (PERADI), Central Jakarta Chapter, he has represented public companies, financial institutions, stateowned enterprises, government agencies, and leading private corporations in complex legal matters involving significant commercial and regulatory interests.
Currently, Josua is pursuing a Doctor of Laws (Dr.) degree at the Faculty of Law, Universitas Brawijaya, where his academic research focuses on the development of Indonesian business law, capital market regulation, corporate governance, and investor protection. His doctoral studies strengthen his ability to integrate legal theory with practical solutions, enabling him to provide sophisticated legal strategies grounded in both academic scholarship and professional experience.
Throughout his legal career, Josua has built a strong reputation in corporate litigation, capital market disputes, shareholder conflicts, financial services regulation, and complex commercial transactions. He is particularly recognized for his expertise in public investor protection, representing investors, corporations, and financial market participants in disputes involving investment losses, securities transactions, breaches of fiduciary duties, corporate governance failures, regulatory enforcement, and violations of disclosure and transparency obligations by listed companies and financial institutions.
Beyond the capital markets sector, Josua has extensive experience advising corporations on corporate restructuring, legal due diligence, governance and compliance, regulatory matters, commercial contracts, and high-value business disputes. His practice also includes representing clients before Indonesian courts, arbitral tribunals, and administrative authorities, while providing strategic legal advisory services aimed at mitigating legal and commercial risks.
Josua has also been entrusted to represent the General Elections Commission of the Republic of Indonesia (KPU RI), together with numerous Provincial and Regional Election Commissions, in constitutional and electoral disputes before the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Indonesia. His experience extends to advising government institutions, state-owned enterprises, and regional governments on governance, regulatory compliance, legal audits, and public sector legal matters.
